Satellite Meeting

Oral presentations are invited from health professionals involved in the specialised field of asthma and respiratory health education. The presentation may relate to research or the development and assessment of a clinical or education service.

The content of the oral presentation should be both current in nature and addressing current clinical or education issues.

Abstracts must be submitted online by the 1st June 2007 and must be prepared in accordance with guidelines:

1. The Abstract Title should be in bold type and Title Case (first letter of each word only in capitals). The Title should be brief to a maximum of 100 characters including spaces.
2. Author Details should be listed as Last Name, First Name with superscript number to indicate affiliation after first name.
3. The Presenting Author should be indicated with an Asterisk.
4. Affiliation details should be entered as Organisation, City, State, Country
5. The abstract should be arranged as follows: Purpose, Methodology, Results and Conclusions
6. The Abstract should be a maximum 250 words and prepared in normal 10 point Arial
7. Tables, graphs, diagrams and references will be accepted as part of the abstract but must not exceed the word limit.
8. Abbreviations must be spelt out in full in the first mention followed by the abbreviation in parenthesis.
9. Leave one line between paragraphs.

Please e-mail your abstract to Maree Brown at maree.brown@act.gov.au. The abstracts will be replicated in the conference proceedings (both hard copy and electronically). Notification of acceptance will be sent to the presenter 8 weeks prior to the conference.
