There is an outstanding line up of speakers at the APSR Congress this year; over 20 international speakers, over 25 Asia-Pacific speakers and 30 Australian speakers sharing the latest advances in research as well as state-of-the art modalities in the management of respiratory diseases. You can find out more here as well as more information on the programme, as topics for the themed symposia are now available.

Late-breaking abstract submissions will open on Wednesday 9 August for abstracts which describe important current research advances and which have not been submitted previously. Only high quality emerging data with results finalised since the original abstract deadline can be accepted. You'll find further criteria and can submit via the participant portal. The closing date for late-breaking abstracts is Friday 1 September 2017.

This year's Gala Dinner promises to be a highlight; set in a stunning location affording views across the harbour to the lights of the city. It's only fitting to have a maritime theme, "The Captain's Table", it will be an evening to dress up for; as if you're invited to join the Captain at his table on a cruise liner. Dress with understated elegance, or even give your national costume an airing. It will be an unforgettable night!

Sunday 3 September is the last date you can get the Earlybird rate, so register now. Keep a lookout for regular updates to the Congress website www.apsr2017.com
