VenueHosho-an

Hosho-an 01

Hosho-an is a typical Japanese tea-ceremony room. Here, we will treat guests to Japanese tea as we demonstrate the unique and traditional Japanese Tea Ceremony. Enjoy this tranquil opportunity to feel and experience the social graces and etiquette of this beautiful and time-honoured custom.

Hosho-an 03

Is it true that the ridiculously tiny entrance door was so designed to prevent Samurai from entering with their long swords, thereby ensuring the room was filled with serene peace and harmony? Or is that just a folk legend? What is certain, is a special and unforgettable moment as you witness this traditional ritual, influenced by Zen Buddhism.

Entry tickets can be purchased for just 100 yen from the ticket centre near the registration desk at the conference hall. The Hosho-an room is small, the occasion is intimate, and therefore numbers are strictly limited for each time slot. Don't miss this special chance to taste Japan!
