Youlim Kim

It is a great honour for me to receive the Young Investigator Award at the APSR-ISRD Joint Session at the ATS conference. I really appreciate Professor Kwun Fong, Professor Chunxue Bai, and other senior researchers for showing their interest in and discussing my research.

In this ATS 2019, I have had some important experiences. First, I was able to introduce my research "Impact of bronchiectasis on clinical outcome and medical utilization in COPD patients" to other researchers and discuss it, and I had the opportunity to look back and supplement my study shortcomings.

Second, I was pleased to have the opportunities to interact with other researchers. As I discussed with other researchers who were focusing the different parts in the same airway diseases, or were doing research in the other pulmonary diseases, I also had the opportunity to conceive new research and it was good to be able to move forward again.

Finally, I deeply thank my correspondents Prof. Ra and Prof. Rhee.
