APSR/ISRD Session at the ATS International Conference 2019 – post-session report

It was my second time attending the American Thoracic Society International Congress last May 2019 in Dallas, Texas but my first time to be invited to present my research paper in the APSR-ISRD joint session during the said congress. It was truly an honour to be chosen for a travel award among the young investigators in our region. I felt so grateful for it was an opportunity to mingle with the professors, clinicians and young researchers from different countries in the Asia-Pacific and learn from their lectures, case reports, and research studies. Indeed, the session provided updates on our knowledge of the respiratory system in health and disease and increase the awareness of health problems in our area. It also promoted exchange of knowledge among respirologists in the region.

Thank you again APSR for this wonderful experience and for always providing a venue and platform to share our research works internationally. This will surely encourage more scientific research output from the APSR members in the field of pulmonary, critical, and sleep medicine.
