What do we do?

Mission:

The Clinical Respiratory Medicine Assembly aims to promote state-of-the-art practice of clinical respiratory medicine in the Asia-Pacific region, through continuous professional development, research and networking. It serves as a platform for members to raise and discuss important clinical questions, share updated medical knowledge, and help shape educational activities of the APSR.

Interests:

  1. Training in respiratory medicine and continuous education for respiratory physicians
  2. Recent advances in the diagnosis and treatment of common respiratory diseases
  3. Smoking and tobacco research
  4. Rare or unusual lung diseases
  5. Emerging infections
  6. Promoting and encouraging publication of clinical cases
  7. Promoting research on clinical respiratory medicine

Who should join:

All APSR members who are interested in the field of clinical respiratory medicine and are keen to develop and share knowledge and ideas, build networks, collaborate in research projects and submit topics for the APSR annual Congress Assembly Symposium are welcome to join. The current leaders of the Assembly are Dr Roland Leung from Hong Kong (Head of the Assembly), Dr Kwan Ling Julie Wang from Hong Kong (Head Elect) and Dr Kay Choong See from Singapore (Deputy Head).
