What do we do?
The Clinical Respiratory Medicine Assembly aims to promote professional development and enhance clinical expertise among members in the field of clinical respiratory medicine, through education, research and networking amongst practitioners of Respiratory Medicine in the Asia-Pacific region.
We are the largest Assembly of the APSR, reflecting the wide expanse of Clinical Respiratory Medicine. We welcome members who are particularly interested in the following areas:
- Training in Respiratory Medicine
- Education of Undergraduates and Postgraduates
- Continuing education amongst Respiratory Physicians
- Rare or unusual lung diseases
- Smoking and Tobacco research
- Emerging infections
Who should join:
All APSR members who are interested in the field of clinical respiratory medicine and are keen to develop and share knowledge and ideas, build networks, collaborate in research projects and submit topics for the APSR Annual Congress Assembly Symposium are welcome to join. The current leaders of the Assembly are Dr Philip Eng from Singapore (Head of the Assembly), Dr Thomas Mok from Hong Kong (Head, Designate) and Dr Dushantha Madegedara from Sri Lanka (Deputy Head).
