APSR Assembly Virtual Meeting

Introduction

An APSR Assembly Virtual Meeting (AVM) is an online symposium (1.5 hour) on the Zoom platform, organised by an APSR assembly. There is one prominent speaker and three selected authors presenting their abstracts.

The prominent speaker presents for 30 minutes followed by 10 minutes Q&A

Each of the three abstracts are presented for 7 minutes followed by 5 minutes Q&A

The APSR assembly leaders conclued with a 5-minute summary.

Due to the large audience expected, real-time interaction with speakers is not feasible, but questions can be submitted online before and during the AVM. Answers are posted on the APSR website shortly after the AVM.

Target audience

Respirologists, respiratory therapists, medical students, nurses, allied health professionals and anyone eager to learn advanced medicine and the latest research.

Registration

Pre-registration is required to join the AVM. Resgistration is free and open to APSR members and non-members.

Certificates

Participation certificates are sent to the presenting authors by email after the AVM. Attendance certificates for non-presenters are not available.
