APSR Assembly Virtual Meeting
Awards

The APSR offers the following awards to recognise excellence in different areas of respiratory medicine based on abstract submissions. These awards are financially supported by APSR.

Gold Award
for the best abstract in a symposium

Award includes:

  • US$250 discount on APSR 2021 Congress registration fee
  • commemorative certificate
  • awardee's abstract published in a special supplement of Respirology
  • recognition on the APSR website, Bulletin and social media

Eligibility and requirements:

  • The awardee must be an APSR member (en bloc or individual). If the abstract is selected for presentation, the presenting author without APSR membership is required to join the APSR.
  • The awardee is required to send a report (circa 500 words) of their experience at the APSR Assembly Virtual Meeting to the APSR Secretariat within one month after the symposium. Receipt of the report is required before the award can be granted. The report may be published in the APSR Bulletin and/or Newsletter.

Silver Award
for an outstanding abstract in a symposium

Award includes:
