The APSR is funding a Short-Term Research/Training Scholarship programme to enable young respirologists to develop, acquire, and apply advanced research procedures and techniques in the area of respiratory medicine for up to six months in a foreign country/region within the APSR region.

The aims of the programme are twofold:

1. Develop and promote science and research in respiratory medicine in the APSR region;

2. Support the exchange in the APSR region of young scientists and clinicians actively involved in respiratory medicine;
