Important Notice on COVID-19

From 1 October 2022 the requirement for all inbound travelers to do post-entry PCR testing is suspended.

PCR inspection suspended

PCR tests within 1 day after entering Korea is not mandatory.

* It will be applied for those who entering Korea after 1 October 00:00 (KST).

* Free PCR tests are available at public health centers for those who wish to be tested within 3 days of entry (Koreans and long-term foreigners)

No obligation to quarantine foreigners

Quarantine exemption for all overseas entrants regardless of their vaccination history.

* The negative certificate is not required from 3 September.

Quarantine Management Flow for Overseas Entrants

  • Symptomatic Entrants
    1. Clarification: Symptomatic entrants
    2. PCR: Arrival Hall or Central Quarantine and Medical Support Center (Quarantine Facility)
    3. Test Result: Positive
    4. Action: Transfer to one's residence, hospital, or treatment facility

    3. Quarantine: Quarantine for only confirmed persons
    4. Additional Test: Day 6-7 RAT Advised

Face Mask Policy

Face masks are required in public indoor spaces including the congress venue, COEX.

Face masks are nout required in public outdoor spaces. The chair and the speaker can only be unmasked during the presentation session.
