APSR Travel Awardee to the ATS International Conference 2021 - post conference report

I was very honored to receive the APSR Travel Award to the ATS International Conference 2021 and would like to thank ATS and APSR for their generous support.

I am very pleased to have the opportunity to present our research entitled “Association of Prehospital Advanced Airway Management by Physician or Emergency Medical Service Personnel with Return of Spontaneous Circulation After Out-of-Hospital Cardiac Arrest Due to Drowning” in the e-poster session and International Scholars poster Colloquium. It was my first experience to give a presentation at the international conference and virtual live colloquium, so I was very nervous. In my presentation, I showed that prehospital advanced airway management by physician may increase the chance of prehospital return of spontaneous circulation. Thanks to the constructive comments and suggestions, I was able to clarify future issues, and this presentation was very beneficial to me. I would like to use this experience to continue my training in the future. I would like to thank moderators and presenters of the colloquium.

During the conference, I was able to gain a lot of knowledge about the latest findings in the field of intensive care and the results of cutting-edge research. I also gained a lot of useful information about COVID-19, which is currently spreading all over the world. I would like to use this knowledge in my clinical practice for the benefit of my patients.

I would like to express my gratitude to Dr Fukuda and many colleagues who gave me a lot of advice for my research.

Thank you again for the support from APSR and ATS to attend the ATS International Conference.
