Scholarship from The Thoracic Society of Australia and New Zealand (TSANZ)

This will be awarded to a scientist or clinician on the basis of scientific merit and presentation of their poster. The recipient will be less than 40 years of age, the first author of the poster and a member of the APSR. The scholarship will cover a return economy airfare, registration and accommodation at the 2009 TSANZ Annual Scientific Meeting in Darwin, Australia. The poster will be presented in the appropriate scientific session. Applicants must indicate they wish to be considered for the TSANZ scholarship on the Abstracts Submission form.

Ten of the submitted abstracts will be placed on a shortlist by the APSR. The following criteria will be applied.

A panel of three judges (two to be chosen by the APSR, one to be a TSANZ nominee) will determine the winner applying the following criteria. The winner will be announced at the closing ceremony.
