The Scientific Programme Committee would like to invite all interested fellow colleagues from the respiratory, critical medical and other related departments to submit abstracts. All accepted abstracts will be published in the special supplement of Respirology, the official journal of the APSR.

The Committee reserves the right to reject abstracts and to edit the submission. Presenters can submit more than one abstract for presentation.

Abstract Submission Guidelines

• All abstracts MUST be submitted online before 31 July 2011.
• Abstracts must be written in English.
• Please refrain from submitting multiple copies of the same abstract.
• The abstract file should be supplied as one file with no more than 400 words including any figures, tables and references.
• It is understood that the materials used in abstracts are original work and should not be published in any publication before the congress time.

Notification

• The abstract will be reviewed by the Scientific Programme Committee and Central Congress Committee. Notification of acceptance will be sent through email to the authors with full instructions concerning the preparation and presentation for poster and oral presentation.
• All presenters of accepted abstracts must be registered for the Congress at the appropriate rate by 15 September 2011.

Withdrawals / Changes

• Abstracts submitted may be revised electronically through the APSR2011 website using the author's ID and password
• Withdrawals or revisions of submitted abstracts are allowed until 31 July 2011.
