Instructions for Speakers

Speaker / Oral Presenter Preparation

The speaker rehearsal room is located in Auditorium Zone A - Ground. All speakers must report to the audio-visual technician, so that the requirements are confirmed.

The speakers are required to submit their presentations 3 hours prior to the session. For a morning session, please ensure that presentation is submitted prior to session day. During the check-in, presentation will be tested on the equipment and loaded onto the network for retrieval in the session room.

The audio-visual technician is expecting early-check-in to ensure that presentation runs smoothly.

The speaker rehearsal room will be opened on the following days;

18 November 200813:00-17:00
19-22 November 200807:00-17:00

Poster

There are 3 poster sessions (P1, P2, P3) will be held on 20-21 November 2008. Each poster must be allocated under its own number.

  1. Indicates that your poster presentation is on 20 or 21 November 2008.
  2. The poster number indicates the board on which you should place your poster.
  3. Double sided tape is allowed to mount the poster. If you do not have this, please contact at the service staff in the area.
  4. No nailing or drilling will be allowed
  5. No painting or wallpapering on the board
  6. Poster must be put up by 08:30 hrs. on the day of presentation and removed at the end of the day. Posters should be left up to for the day of the allocated poster session only
  7. Presenter should stand by their poster during the allocated poster sessions as follows;
20 November 2008P1 10:45-12:00
P2 13:30-15:00
21 November 2008P3 13:30-15:00
