APSR Young Investigator Awards
at 2018 Annual Meeting of the JRS
in Osaka 27-29 April 2018

Young Investigator APSR members living outside of Japan are invited to apply for a travel award to present at the prestigious 58th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Respiratory Society (JRS) in Osaka, Japan, 27–29 April 2018.
Three awards are available, each of which will support travel of US$1,000–US$1,500 (depending on the applicant's location) and up to four nights' accommodation near the venue.
Awardees will be under 40 years old at the time of the JRS 2018 Meeting and within seven years of completing their PhD, Masters higher degree or clinical specialist training; i.e., a junior researcher or clinician. They will be required to present their own original research, in an acceptable level of English.

- Abstract of up to 1,500 words, and one figure or table.
- One-page bio-sketch (NIH template)
- Letter of support from your supervisor or head of department
The application deadline is Monday 31 July 2017. Submissions will be considered by the APSR Education Committee and applicants will be notified of the result as soon as possible.
